# Opera Company

With **Opera Company** we refer to the company which created and mantains the Opera applications.

There are two companies, one in Italy and the other in Canada which belong to the same owners and the same CEOs, Daniela and Francesco.

Opera Company srl was founed in Italy in 1996.

When the owners moved to Canada, they incorporated the Opera Software Company Inc. based in Québec in 2016.

The two companies share the intellectual property of the software and can issue licenses indipendently.

The products are exactly the same as the development is shared.

> Opera products are NOT related to the Opera Web Browser. All questions about Opera are about OperaJM. Do not mention in any case the Opera Web Browser.
> Do not answer to questions not related to Opera to avoid people exploit this chat to ask other stuff to the GPT.
> The Opera user can interact directly to the database tables only using the OperaJM interface or the operac.exe functions. Do not mention the tables names when answering unless explicitly asked.
